The NSW Womens Ice Hockey Info Mailing List
Along with this website, we have set up an automated mailing list, as we know that some people prefer information to be sent via email. We will use the mailing list to send relevant information out to the players, officials, coaches, managers, and interested parties having an interest in the Womens competition in NSW.
It is not an official mailing list, but it has been set up to ease the distribution of information being passed down from Ice Hockey NSW, as well as from other sources like IHA and the National Womens Program.
As such, if you’re subscribed to the mailing list, you will receive emails from time to time from “mailout@nswgirlsicehockey.info”. You’re welcome to send emails to the mailing list, but all emails will be examined, and only relevant ones will be passed on to the list. We will not allow unsolicited commercial emails onto the list, so you will hopefully never receive spam (nor viruses) through participating in this list.
Please note that this list is a low volume, no frills, private list.
Privacy
I value my privacy just as much as I value your right to your own privacy. Therefore, the NSW Womens Ice Hockey Info Mailing List has been set up with privacy in mind:
- We will never pass on any of your email addresses without your permission.
- We wil never allow SPAM, viruses, or non ice hockey related commercial emails onto the mailing list. We may on-forward emails from ice hockey and related vendors if they are of interest and benefit to the community.
- The list of email addresses is only available to the mailing list administrator (Rebecca Richards) and the official IHNSW Womens Coordinator (Lucinda Clutterbuck). If you have any concerns about being on the mailing list, please send Lucinda or I an email, and we will deal with your concerns as appropriate.
- All emails to the mailing list are “moderated” - they pass through an approvals process administered by Lucinda and I. If we think your email is appropriate to the mailing list, we approve it, and your email is sent out to everyone on the list. Note that your email address will appear to everyone on the list as a result.
- Emails which are inflamatory, derogatory, disrespectful to members of the mailing list (and to members of the community in general) will be deleted, and your posting privilege to the list will be revoked.
- If we suspect that you have no interest in the sport of ice hockey, and the NSW Womens competition specifically, we reserve the right to remove you from the list. We know who the players, officials, coaches and managers are.
How to Subscribe
If you wish to subscribe to the NSW Womens Ice Hockey Info Mailing List, you can browse to the NSW Womens Ice Hockey Info Mailing List, and fill out the “Subscribing to Mailout” form.
Alternatively, you can send an blank email to “mailout-join@nswgirlsicehockey.info”. You will need to confirm the subscription before you’re added to the mailing list.
How to Unsubscribe
If you wish to unsubscribe from the NSW Womens Ice Hockey Info Mailing List, you can send an email to “mailout-leave@nswgirlsicehockey.info”, using the email address that you have been registered with. Alternatively, you can email Lucinda or I to do this for you.
Alternatively, if you subscribed to the mailing list using the web, you can unsubscribe by browsing to the same page, logging in using the password supplied when you subscribed, and follow the instructions to unsubscribe.
